The PokerKings Lobby
After you have successfully downloaded and installed the PokerKings software and registered as a new member, you will enter the PokerKings lobby.
The main menu is displayed in the upper part of the screen.
"Profile" allows you to edit your personal information.
In "Settings" you can adjust screen settings and sound, search for a player, or contact the PokerKings support.
Under "Games" you can access our poker games:
- Texas Hold’em, including
- Omaha (Omaha High and Hi/Lo)
- Stud games (7 Card Stud and 5 Card Stud)
- Five Card Draw (Regular and 7-A)
All games are listed with the starting times (GMT), limits, buy-ins and the maximum number of players per table.
For detailed information on individual cash games, please go to "Games" in the main menu.
In addition to the cash games, you may also select between "Single-table tournaments" and "Multi-table tournaments."
At PokerKings, each poker games is offered in different variants:
- Limit – The amount of the bet or the number of raises is limited.
- No Limit – The number of raises is not limited.
- Pot Limit – The bets and raises are limited to the current size of the pot.
The only difference between Fixed Limit, No Limit, and Pot Limit is the amount players can bet or raise when it is their turn to act.
In Fixed Limit, the amount a player can bet is determined by the limits and the current betting round.
The rules for the amount a player can bet in No Limit is determined by the size of the blinds, the amount of chips bet by previous players in the current betting round, and the amount of chips the player has left.
In Pot Limit, the rules for determining the amount a player similar to the ones in No Limit, except that there is a limit on the maximum bet determined by the size of the pot and the action in the current betting round.
In order to play poker with real money, you must make a bet. PokerKings gives you several options to deposit money in your account. For any financial transactions go to "Cashier" where you will find a list of the different deposit and withdrawal methods available to you.
