The 2009 Scottish Poker Championships is taking place between the 7^th and the 13^th of September 2009.

PokerKings is offering you the chance to be there with a €3,500 prize package that includes entry to the £500 + £50 Freezeout as well as the Main Event £1,000 + £100. The winning package includes €1,500 travel and accommodation money.

€2.20 satellites commence on the 13^th July 2009 and will run all day every day for six weeks.  Winners of the daily satellites will win entry into the €20 + €2 weekly final at 15:30 GMT to compete for a €190 seat in the monthly online finals. You can also qualify for the final via the daily €11 Scottish Super Satellite.  
The two €175 + €15 online finals are on the 2^nd & 23^rd August 2009.

You can win a spot in the 20th European Poker Seven Card Stud Championship

courtesy of PokerKings. The Seven Card Stud event will be held at Casino Baden, Austria, from the 9^th of October. PokerKings’ prize is a €3,500 package that includes €2,500 entry to the Fixed Limit Main Event tournament as well as €1,000 travel and accommodation money. 

€3.00 + €0.30 satellites begin on the 20^th July and run every day for eight weeks at 11:30, 18:00, 20:30 and 22:30 GMT. Winners of the daily satellites will win entry into the weekly Sunday €30 + €3 final at 17:30 GMT to compete for a €300 seat in the online final.

The two online finals are on the 16^th August & 13^th September 2009.

€5.00 + €0.50 satellites begin on the 20^th July and run every day for eight weeks at 10:30, 17:00, 19:30 and 21:30 GMT. Winners of the daily satellites will win entry into the weekly Sunday €50 + €5 final at 16:30 GMT to compete for a €430 seat in the online final.

The two finals will be on the 16^th August & 13^th September 2009.

What is a bad beat?
What’s a bad beat? A bad beat is when your really good, can’t-be beaten-hand gets... beaten.  In other words: a Bad Beat winner holds the best hand to lose the round.  To qualify for a Bad Beat Jackpot at PokerKings, you must have four of a kind Sixes or better, beaten in a hand on one of the specifically marked PokerKings Bad Beat Jackpot tables.

We collect 50 cents from the pot of every raked hand played on our Bad Beat Jackpot tables. So the more you play, the bigger the pay-out.
 
Win on our Bad Beat Jackpot tables if you lose with a hand of Four of a Kind Sixes, or better.

How “Bad” does it get...?

The PokerKings Bad Beat Jackpot, when taking place, is divided as follows:
•    70% to the players who were dealt into the round.
•    20% is used for the next jackpot.
•    10% Administration fee
Of the sum distributed to players who participated in the round:
•    50% of the stake is awarded to the player who held the bad beat hand (the next highest-ranking hand).
•    25% is awarded to the player who held the winning hand (the highest-ranking hand).
•    25% is shared by the rest of the players who took part in the round. This includes players who went sit-out or retired from the round.

Buy ins for these satellites range from €7.50+50c to €15+€1. Also every day at 19:00 GMT we run a tourney in which we guarantee 10 seats to the €100,000 GTD (on Sundays at 15:00 GMT) this great value tournament is only €10+€1

From the 1^st of May 2008 PokerKings are launching new Jackpot Sit’n’Go’s; where you can win up to €10,000!!! All you have to do to win the €10,000 Jackpot is to win six “JACKPOT” tournaments in a row. There is also a consolation prize for any player’s that finish 1^st or 2^nd in 6 “Jackpot” Sit’n’Go’s  in a row  

The “Jackpot” Sit’n’Go is a €10 + €2 Full ring table Sit’n’Go tournament with 8 minute blinds and a 1,500 starting stack.

This promotion starts on the 1^st of May 00:00 and is on-going until further notice.

Three FPPTs every week

PokerKings holds three FPP tournaments every week where you can use your Frequent Player Points (FPPs):

You can collect player points at our cash tables, or at our buy-in tournaments. You receive one (1) FPP for every €0.25 that you obtain as a rake at the cash tables. At tournaments, you receive four (4) FPPs for every €1 that you paid in tournament fees.
